MURU is a weekend house. A place to escape the noisy city life of Peru's capital. The project reinterprets the language of traditional construction made of stone, adobe and wood. It also plays with the standard organisation of a house and divides the program into two parts.
A space for the owners and a space for friends. Each room establishes a close relationship with the forest that surrounds it. The two parts then come together in a social space of connection and sharing. Unfortunately, the Covid period stopped the development of the project.
MURU est une maison de week-end. Un endroit pour échapper à la vie urbaine bruyante de la capitale du Pérou. Le projet réinterprète le langage de la construction traditionnelle en pierre, adobe et bois. Il joue également avec l'organisation standard d'une maison et divise le programme en deux parties. Un espace pour les propriétaires et un espace pour les amis. Chaque pièce établit une relation étroite avec la forêt qui l'entoure. Les deux parties se rejoignent ensuite dans un espace social de connexion et de partage. Malheureusement, la période de Covid a stoppé le développement du projet.
